* Simon McNeely Award  Winner- 2014 (The Simon A. McNeely Honor Award is presented to those individuals who have demonstrated active involvement in school and community affairs, along with outstanding teaching and service in the field of physical education).

* Maryland Demonstration School Designation, Evergreen Elementary School 

2011- current.  (The Maryland Physical Education Demonstration School Program recognizes exemplary physical education programs and teachers across the state and encourages visits to these sites by other physical educators. By doing this, innovative programs and good practices are shared and promoted statewide).
