MENTORSHIP

In the end, it's really more than just baseball.  It's about life. 

 

I help players grow as players, but also as people.  I hope to instill a mind-set and attitude towards school and life outside the baseball barn that anything is possible and they can and will do it---if they just hang in there.  I am here to show you it can be done.   No matter the odds.  I use my experience to inspire them and help them grow.  Sure, we are training to become great baseball players, but it's more than just swinging a bat or throwing a ball.  I enjoy being a mentor to these kids and giving them what I wish I'd had at their age.  I hold them accountable and kids respond.
